I Put The Chronic In Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Shirt

Ah, the lungs. We so often forget how important they are until we experience a breathing difficulty, but even then, we don't always think about the underlying cause - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD. As a chronic lung condition, COPD can be managed but not cured, something I know all too well. My relationship with this disease began when I was diagnosed nearly two decades ago. Shortly after my diagnosis of COPD, I decided to take the initiative to make sure I had the best quality of life that I could, and put the "chronic" in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease by making sure to get educated and stay informed on the latest research and treatments.
